The International Musician features audition advertisements in the International Musician magazine. All audition ads from US or Canadian symphony orchestras in the International Musician must be covered by an AFM collective bargaining agreement.
Ad categories include Auditions, Help Wanted, Training/Educational, Festivals, Military Bands, and Foreign Orchestras.
All audition ads now include a hyperlink in our digital issue and will be included in our online searchable database for AFM members at afm.org at no additional charge.
The IM will do its best to accommodate ads submitted after a given deadline as long as there is space available. If you have any questions regarding deadlines or availability of space, contact classifieds@afm.org.
Ads must be reserved the month prior to the publish date (i.e., June for the July issue).
After the ad copy is received, the IM will e-mail back a formatted proof of how the ad will appear when published.
Classified Audition Ads are $138 per column inch. All audition ads include a hyperlink in the digital issue and are included in the online searchable database for AFM members at afm.org at no additional charge. Full color and spot color are available for an additional 25%.
Typesetting charges: Alterations or copy changes that need to be made after the ad has been approved will be made at a flat fee of $25. Logos can be included in an ad design for no additional fee.
